    If your only plinking you could shorten the stroke and lighten the piston a touch. It helps with the secondary recoil you get with springers. Another thing springers like lighter softer pellets.

  Just got me a welder! 125 amp flux core budget welder by Forney...a step up from Harbor Freight, but its no Lincoln...

    Cool! I had something like that before I got my Lincoln. With practice you can produce some pretty good welds. Then, when you get a Lincoln, you'll be like an expert, because it is Sooooo much easier.

    Also...Don't get your Flux core wire from HF (slag central). If you buy Lincoln wire, even a cheap welder will perform much better.
