  Survived hurricane Lorenzo last night. The windows in our hotel blew open 5 or 6 times but didn’t break. Winds only got to 66 mph.

    The beer is good! I have always loved Guinnes. The whiskey is great too. Smoother than Scotch but it’s still my favorite. No, I didn’t bring a frame but I should have. My life has been too hectic lately with the move and all. Fantastic views and crazy drivers.

    Micarta core and Patagonian Rosewood scales. The press is just two pieces of 3/4" and 8 or 10 clamps. The wet micarta is in parchment paper so it doesn't ooze out or stick to anything.
