    Very cold, windy and rainy weekend here and the shoot near me is in full swing so the birds are very easy to startle and flush by accident.

    Managed a couple with my new HH 9.5mm steel generic natural.7 latex 25/20.

    lovely bit of supper for later in the week.

    cheers lads!

    I used to shoot a basic wood version for a long time and finally picked this one up second hand off a lad on the hunting life forum. Its one of matt reddings HH cores, scaled with bog oak and brass pins and has rounded tips.

    Matt was a big inspiration so its quite dear to me.

    I’m interested in the game bag. Even though I’m a squirrel hunter I would like to know how to get one. Thanks in advance….Luke

    I will trade you a bag, simular enough to be it's cousin, for a fork like the one in the pic.

    @ger2020 was the birds delicious?
    I learned reading this post the term “bog oak”. I looked it up and a lot of it isn’t too badly priced for being so old. I might try it sometime on a build.
