okay what is the best affordable resin for our purposes? something that wont go loose its luster after time in the sun

is there a go to place for materials like carbon fiber prepreg, g10, resin pigments, ect.

solvent based pigments or the solid powdery ones ?
i have alot to learn , i am wide open to any and all advice!

right off the bat i see he has one of my ideas already done magic mushrooms cast in resin. i ve been thinking about that forever. or spore prints cast in resin.

i will be checking out those vids , thanks.

ive read alumalite is good but then someone i respect said any 2 part will do lol. im gonna go with total boat resin this time as im just starting out. if i need to spend the money on better stuff i will.

all the pigments i find on amazon are all Mica this or that are they all mica? or am i not searching right? i have rolio mica powder 24 pearlescent color pigments, can anyone else recommend a pack of pigments like this?

...and Drew is happy to share knowledge. He has done some crazy stuff, but my favorite was when he cast a dandelion in resin.

Both. Lightly torch to remove the worst of the bubbles and then pressure pot.
