In my blazing of the path of perpetual mischief I have become taken over by butterfly pfs shooting. To quench my thirst for that and natural forks I’ve been looking high and low for the perfect fork. Well I don’t think this is perfect but she purdy!

She’s banded up with enough of that stretchy spaghetti that my long armed self oughta be able to reach back to third grade before her pretty little curvy hip tail slings that steel!

This may be a dumb question but here it goes. What were the wire ties for?

To get the fork gap smaller and forks straighter while drying.

I wanted the gap a little bit smaller and straighten the smaller one a bit. I got about an eighth out of that way. It sprung back a little bit but not much

She shot real well today. Took out some cans. Flipped some spinners. Even had a 10-12 shoot live on a 7.5 at a tad over ten meters. Ended up putting some tube protectors on because you could see it was about to be a problem

And the itch is strong!!!! Stepping out of my comfort zone and going full butterfly with light tubes (first 2040 now 1632) with pfs has ignited something in my shooting for sure. In a couple weeks of doing this I’m hitting shots further and more consistently than I thought I ever would.

I’m not saying I’ll never shoot a standard fork again, but at the moment for sure this is what I like. I can’t wait to have time to get a small conus made!
