    This one was made from a well aged and seasoned Yew blank with no cracks or rot. It is finished with CA and BLO. SHIPPING IS EXTRA!

    But I spent my allowance on having 3 kids. hahahaha...

    One day I may become a turner...but I don't think I will ever be this good.

    It is a Hobo Handline Spool used today by bushcrafters, hikers, campers and EDC folks as an alternative to bulky fishing gear. It was, as the name implies, originally used by Hobos in the depression era as the original pocket fisherman.

    These are a hoot to fish with especially in ponds for bream and bass and in streams and beaver ponds for trout. Throw it in your bag or pocket with your slingshot and go for a walk.
