Well attached is my first attempt at making a HDPE slingshot. I used Bill Hayes design and recycled an old sign. If you look at the pics you will see a line of white at the bottom. I could not work around the letter so I just included it. This is the second set of bands first ones were light surgical latex, second are red theraband (I have yet to shot with them yet). Good job

And the letter looks just like it's a part of the design.

If you locate some you will like it, easy to cut and shape and pretty forgiving. I am looking for a cheap source if you find it let me know. Now

I know you can make your own blocks from milk jugs and other HDPE plastic bottles. I plan on doing that as soon as I can gather up enough cartons and build a mold.

I am saving some milk cartons as well. I watched a video of a young man doing just that on YouTube. 300 degrees I believe is the melting point. My wife is not a fan of me doing it in our oven.,.

Love HDPE. If you go onto you tube and search bubbleheadohoh (me by the way) you will find how to guides on how to melt and mould. You tube decided it didnt like my email and locked me out!
