I'm up in Santa Fe if you ever want to get together and plink cans. :)

In some countries twisting the pouch and flicking the pickle away as it shoots is called "birth control"

Why do you drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Is that a slingshot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

HA! Yep, exposing yourself to 18.5 million viewers on national tv and not even getting arrested for it is difficult to get away with. Of course, that cameraman was "digging for gold".

Really wet spring here; raining daily. Bad hailstorm a couple of days ago and now roofing companies are calling several times per day.

Tendonitis in the left elbow, too much pain to hold the pouch. Switched to holding slingshot in left and pouch in right, feels odd.

Thanks for the advice! I've had problems with tendonitis in that elbow for years, seems like it flares up anytime I increase activity with those particular muscles. I've been icing it, heating it, and also been wearing a compression band. Holding the slingshot in left hand doesn't aggravate it, but holding pouch in left hand hurts like hell. So until it heals the swapped hand method seems to work ok.

Jonm - the compression band I got is for tennis elbow and seems to help a lot. It has a hard plastic part you put on the muscle just above the pain area, then you crank the straps down and velcro them. It does seem to help. I don't know how they work, but it seems like they do.

I found those when I hurt my elbow playing softball from snapping my arm as I threw a long ball. I think the reason they work well for elbow injuries is that as it is tightened, it helps keep everythhing in place with allowing minimal stress on the muscles & ligaments. I'm glad you found something to help with the pain & movement.

Lost my dog this morning; Crinkles. She lived for chasing deer, squirrels and being with daddy. Twisted stomach; vets tried surgery but no.
