I shot slings and slingshot as a kid with my dad. He was a cravk shot with both. We've eaten many squirrels that he has felled with a sling and slingshot. He was born in 1890 and a true "Old Timer". As a Hobo in 1906/7 he developed his shooting skills. He used a Hobo Shooter. It was a stick or preferable a clothespin with car tire intertube elastics and I could never hit anything with it.
