1. Scout LT (difficult to tell), what color is it? Any damage or signs of fork hits?
2. Sparrow, is that black?

gawd that stuff is expensive - I've been wanting to try desert ironwood, but it's got to be one of the most expensive hardwoods available in wider 4" widths (short of ebony or pink ivory) - seems most of it is cut in squares less than 2" wide for lathe turning . Let us know if desert ironwood is as good as it looks ...
