    You lucky bastards. It got really cold here. I still haven't found a good place for indoor shooting. I can shoot in rain or wind but anything below 35 degrees hurts my hands.

gawd that stuff is expensive - I've been wanting to try desert ironwood, but it's got to be one of the most expensive hardwoods available in wider 4" widths (short of ebony or pink ivory) - seems most of it is cut in squares less than 2" wide for lathe turning . Let us know if desert ironwood is as good as it looks ...
