I've done the same thing before. Found out doing short burst and letting them rest for a few is the best way to help prevent that. Of course if you don't have to have it in a hurry letting it air dry for several days before you do that would be a plus.

Short burst, 20 to 30 seconds then wait till is cool to touch, keep doing it till there is no more steam coming from it! :)

yea but at least they are cheap, and have you made a catch box yet you can get them all back unless you miss the whole box and if you do that well i guess stand closer ;-)

Does G-10 go by any other name people at stores ask me what's that and I haven't an explanation

You won't find it at a store unless they supply knife or gun makers. Your best bet is online retailers or ebay, though most pieces are suitable only for scales. I found a local place that does insulators for industrial/electrical applications, but they don't really deal with the public.

with the 105's just allow for the fold over for your pouch & fork ties
that band set will have 12# pull weight...use lead for ammo..it will be slow

Even if there were such a thing, it would be different at every moment.

Yes you will if you want to. if you are motivated and have the right advice, you will be astounded with what you can do with a knife, sandpaper and a tree fork.
