I'm happily married to the greatest woman ever! Kay does most of all our invoicing and accounts and all our rough frame cutouts, product shipping, band assembly making and much of leather work here at A+. I take care of the rest.

I've always been a lover of just about anything outdoors. I grew up fishing and hunting every chance I got in West Texas. I have been making and shooting slingshots for most of my life. Now at almost 49, I am pleased to say I still love "makin' and shootin' slingshots!!!" Fortunately, so does my wife and sons.
I have been active in various kinds of christian ministry service for over 30 years, and I've been a credentialed minister for around 24 years and I'm an Ordained Pastor with the Assemblies of God.

Because of the changing economic climate 4-5 years ago I began designing, making and selling quality wooden slingshots and related items so I could continue to minister to a small but emerging church in Southern California that we love and feel called to serve.
Thanks to wonderful people just like you, A+ Slingshots has developed into a successful "home business" that ships all over the world!!! I still serve as Pastor but am fully bi-vocational now dividing my time between the two as best I can while always maintaining the church I pastor as high priority.
Thankfully this kind of business allows me the time to attend to various church related duties and needs through the week and weekend. Though it can be very challenging at times, being a minister and a craftsman has turned out to be a nice balancing thing for my life that I am truly grateful for!
