Well, it's finally done. It's a replica of a Greenland Skin on Frame Kayak. No fasteners in the frame besides dowels, mortise and tenon joints and artificial sinew. I did use epoxy to do scarf joints, laminate the masik and make the cockpit hoop. Most of the frame is pine. The ribs and cockpit hoop are white oak and the masik is red oak. The skin is heavy nylon fabric covered with two part polyurethane. This has taken me since early last summer. I got the frame done in about two months and then had to wait for cooler weather to skin it. Glad it's done, I'm launching it tomorrow in the pool. I'll try to post a video of shooting from the kayak pretty soon. Now I can get back to making slingshots. Nicely done sir. It reminds me of the kayaks done at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais:tu:

    Hey Kevin,
Thanks. No one hopes it floats more than I do. We'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks Sanch! Now I can get to making some of the slingshot ideas I have. The vacuum chamber idea really intrigues me too.
