What's up sling-stars? I am looking to change up my formula and dig into the sling-scene over here after a good run over at the Forum. I can't say goodby to those shooters as so many of them also participate over here and have become good friends. I suppose I am engaging in a sling-sitdown after the format changes over there sold me out to the 'Man'. I understand that the same turmoil may happen over here but as far as I remember everything looks pretty much the same. Anyway, thanks for having me! Mo
Mo, come right in, pull up a chair, and stay awhile. Love seeing you more over here and looking forward to seeing your work and hearing your tales on this side of the internet stream. I was just getting my toes in the sand good on the other site when they pulled the rug out. I enjoyed all the personal challenges via the badges that made us better shooters and will miss that part. I do welcome the brotherhood that both sites bring. But for what it is worth, this site is just simpler to post and easy for me to keep up with. There are a few advertisements here. Some good looking, some not, but for the most part this is a good place to settle down a while and relax.

Looks like we’re all in it together I guess lol. The brotherhood thing is probably the most important aspect to me. Wherever that goes, I go. And hey, I figure there’s no reason we can’t live in both dimensions, so to speak. Yin and Yang right? And more slingshot stuff! Or, something like that. I dunno it’s late lol.

Right! When I first found both of the Forums I was making myself crazy trying to track where I was communicating. I guess I may have been taking it personal that the other sight sanitized the hard work that so many outstanding members had put into it. Dunno. At the end of the day I am still shooting my slingshots!
If you haven't tried Instagram then give it a whirl if you like seeing frames being made around the world. Some folks prefer that sight as well as Facebook. I don't do the latter but do get a lot of inspiration via Instagram.
It is funny to see some members from the 'other side' here now that I know got banned for being outspoken.

Yo, Mo! Here's a history lesson from Marine Corps Bootcamp, circa 1971! The USMC was founded in Philadelphia's Tun's Tavern where the bartender kept tabs on a slate. A "P" next your name or Mark, meant you owed him for a Pint. A "Q" meant you owed him for a Quart. So watching your Ps and Qs could relate to tracking your finances, or your beverage consumption. Either way, good advice!

I might venture back into Instagram..maybe….. I need it for business anyhow. I ditched FB about a year ago though and my stress level decreased and focus increased so much that I’ll never go back. Just giant time suck with some funny memes and cat pics. Hey, good to see you C5!
Hey Mo, welcome over here from over dere (Think Dice when reading)! There are so few slingshot resources out there that I happily venture back and forth, even though I'm not too happy with the changes. As you know I'm on IG a fair bit, but it still doesn't have the same free flow back and forth communication that a forum does. I definitely prefer IG to FB.
