Lol u guys are sick , I do use the conus flex and the bonegrip flex ,both are set up heavy for 40 cal. Stuff ,butt most of the time I have this elk bone or my nibbler ,it’s just the right everything for the way I shoot ,any band set up seems to work on that frame, it has good mo-jo . I forget who got the other side of that horn “Xmas gift” but they don’t know of the mo-jo it has . Got two shoots at a pheasant but I was off yesterday tired, think slumping my shoulders just couldn’t find my concentration to hit pinpoint.

Just lucky , I’d say that but the thousands of rounds live shot in the last year would say skill had something to do with it but my humility says lucky good shot he moved into it. Almost all my bird shots are 30-60 yards, in fact most are past 25 yards ,with Nugget running around you got to be quick ,he is Johnny on the spot to stop them from getting away then brings it to me lol he’s a healer not a retriever lol 44EC1630-18E7-4060-9B4C-2523E75F42B3.jpeg

Wow! And most of your shots are 30-60 yards! How do you calculate the drop at that distance? Is it just instinctive or do you have some kind of sighting-like a point on the fork to estimate drop, then finish off the shot instinctively?

Yes the latter, I use derf. Size ammo 7/16-3/8 ,then lead .395,and .375 and 1odd buckshot . My hunting bands are set for 7/16 with no hand slap,so when I use 3/8 I get handslap but it’s moving ,as for sights no I use the fork end tip as a get me in the Area then instinct takes over, and shooting 30-60 yard is no different than 15 feet if your doing it on a daily bases I get mad if I’m not hitting the can in my 30 yard catch bucket every shot same as some do at 30 feet ,lol in fact I suck in the gallery at 33 feet , it’s all about the first shot for me after that I start aiming then cant hit a damm thing, this building the house thing is taking from my sling flu and my consistency in shooting ,damm wife needs a home “what’s wrong with just living in the man cave ?
