A lot of eye appeal so I tried one out of some 10 layer oak ply , 3/4" thick and it shoots wonderful with nearly perfect ergonomics for my hand. I went ahead and put a little shiny on it even though I already cut another out of some cherry that will be for show. Pic tomorrow

 

One out of some 5 ply oak flooring x 2 and the other out of 1/2" cherry. No need for any contour as it feels terrific in the hand as is.

Here's another out of walnut and some rattle can poly that i opened up a tad for my bearpaw fingers

I liked the look enough I went out this evening to cut out a frame in Cherry. I still need to route the round overs, cut the band tie grooves, and put on a finish. Looks like it is going to be a nice frame. Thanks for sharing the pattern with us.
