Yeah thought the lucky 7 was one, who did the one with 9 holes? Is that a lucky 9 or was someone trying to copy the 7 but miss counted.

Who made the huntsman, I think I've seen it before, a guy in Sheffield was making them, Vinny I think his name was.

 

The 9 hole is a bronze Asa frame another gift from the Mrs [emoji846] good girl [emoji6] , the huntsman came from Yorkshire custom catapults my brother liked mine so much he got in touch with vinny who sold him his huntsman it's almost identical to mine nice frame ... Would be a really hard call to say which is my all time favourite frame out of the huntsman and the Asa milbro.

Yeah I thought it was from Vinny at Yorkshire Custom. I used to chat with him all the time on a Facebook group but haven't heard from him in a long time I don't do Facebook catapult groups anymore but I do remember him building that one probably around the same time I got mine from Martin, I really like that design.

Any reason he did 9 holes? I was always told they did 7 for luck.

 

Think the holey ones are called Milbro sports but haven't the faintest why it's got 9 holes good job really cos it's a heavy lump being bronze.

I don't know for sure but I think it was that donk guy.

 

That sure has a lot of character.

I like it a lot, and I'm pretty convinced now to make one similar to carry regularly. It reminds me of the quintessential Dennis the Menace or Westleys slingshot in the old movie Moonlight Bay I coveted and looked for as a kid.(we used innertubes or dish gloves as rubber.)

I only recently began shooting proper flat bands, and most of my slingshots have been 70s wrist/pocket-rockets with tubes.

I sure do enjoy the accuracy of bands, but I have to confess, I don't like how fragile they are.
I like to just slip my slingshot in the hammer-loop of my overalls and not think about it. I've never worried about tubes catching on branches or shop equipment. It happens regularly.
But my personal flats are TBG taper cut for 1/4 to 5/16 steel. Pretty fragile.

Your setup looks perfect in that capacity though!
