    Hey Guys,

    I just wanted to show you what came in the mail today. Apparently I was the first person to order the new Metbro Unishot slingshot core off of the MetroGrade website and Eric (@Metropolicity ) decided to throw in not 1 but 2 extras!!
    I was super excited to get the Unishot core but now I'm just over the moon! [​IMG] An additional Metbro Classic core, and Wasply PFS core!!

    I'm looking forward to trying my hand at finishing these with some scales or paracord.

      Awesome! I forget that shipping takes almost no time in Canada :)

      Happy to help spread the joy of waterjet cut aluminum. Check out my various threads on finishing that Wasply, there are certain areas I've flagged for nice areas to round and what to keep flat.

      Noooooo. this brakes my heart :| .... I was literally a hair thickness away of submitting the order for one metbro classic when I saw it on his web (I visit it from time to time, his blog is good info), but I put it off for later ... maybe I could have been the first, who knows


      But yeaaaah ! :D I certainly wish it to you, grats for the lucks Samurai! :) I had my share of free MGGoods :p Eric rocks.

      I will definitely be checking out the threads on finishing the Wasply. I'm sure the principles learned will carry over to finishing the other cores. Can't wait to shoot them.

      Yup I certainly consider myself a fortunate man. :D Sorry for the heartbreak John. Lets just hope I can make the most of the cores and finish them nicely. It will be my first attempt.

      You'll do fine. You can't screw up aluminum too bad, unless you like power tools like me and believe me, when I screw up, it's spectacular!

      A couple of round files, a half round file, some 100/240/400 and scouring pads will help in your efforts.

      Should I do a finishing video? I just bought into the gopro cult.

      Got my metbro the other day, I was kind of lost on ideas and shot on time when it can to building it up. The one idea I was set on was shooting the frame. So I just hit it with a bit of sanding and and wrapped it with camoform. It shoots great I love it! image.jpg
