I finally have someone to shoot with!

    My eldest son (25) started taking interest in the hobby a couple months ago, so I made him an HDPE TTF ergo. At first he would only do it when he was really bored, but only for short durations at a time...plinking cans...and after a short while he seemed to get bored of it and didn't pick it back up...

    However, recently he went with me on a pigeon hunt, and saw me take one, and was amazed at the long shot I took. Now he's asking me to go out to the catchbox, and instead of cans, he asked to shoot at my golfball targets. His accuracy is coming pretty quickly... he's already at about 40%... won't be long before he will be hunt ready!

      That's really cool. My kids are in their 30's and don't seem to have time for it on a regular basis. Maybe one day.

      I can't get my Daughter interested,but she does enjoy shooting my air rifles and pistols. It's great to share a hobby with your children. Good luck on your future hunting trips.

      He is also a great musician that I enjoy performing with, which is awesome....and now having this in common makes it even better...the father/son bond can only get tighter

      My daughter likes to look at they but has no interest in shooting one. :(

      Nice to hear things are different for you, stick with it, I go out with the air rifle with my dad.

      Maybe that will change, Muz...it did with my oldest...took awhile too

      I'm hoping that my youngest daughter will get into slingshots as well... she's only 2-1/2 but she pretends to shoot with me...and she is very encouraging...Everytime I nail the target she says, "nice shot!" Lol

      My other three kids don't have any interest in them at all...just to look at my homemade ones, and give me compliments on them...they try to appear interested for my sake, anyway...lol...

      Thats cool. My daughter likes shooting slingshots but every so often hits her hand and refuses to touch one for a month or so.
