Hi! I'm a complete slingshot novice but am in search of a decent means of dispatching invasive house sparrows and starlings. Air rifles are not an option in my city so I'm looking into slingshot. I saw that you have taken out some of these invasives and wondered if you had a slingshot brand and ammo type recommendation. Lead shot is not an option. Any other advice on the subject is welcome. Thank you!

Simpleshot's Scout is a great starter slingshot. And 3/8 inch steel ball bearing will kill any small bird you can hit. But remember, a slingshot with a steel ball bearing can easily do more damage than an air rifle assuming the ball bearing is larger than the ammo for the air rifle. I'd suggest making catch box and practicing on a target the size of a ping pong ball at about 30 feet before trying to kill birds.
