    Hey guys.
    Anyone who has had the pleasure of dealing with Alex ( @byudzai ) knows what a fantastic person he is and those who have got there hands on the FlatCat (OTT or TTF) know what a pleasure it is to shoot. I was lucky enough to be a very small part of the process when Alex was developing his shooter and as a thank you he sent me one of his early models. #002
    Any of you who know me know that I don't like to feel like I owe something to someone and Alex has been so generous that I had to do something to say thank you. I love making slingshots so I asked Alex if I could copy his design and make a FlatCat with a Barky twist to it. Alex graciously agreed and when I told him it was ready he asked me to do this thread so that he can share with all of you.

    The material is burgandy pearl kirinite and a special centre sandwiched between brass spacers.

      That is amazing! I can't wait for the glamor pics. I second everything you have said about the FlatCat and Alex.

      I sanded from 120 all the way to 7000 as I really wanted the kirinite to shine. I then hand polished it with a soft cloth and finally added 2 layers of Renaissance wax.
      I think it was well worth the extra effort as it came up very nicely. I'm very happy with the results and I hope Alex has as much fun shooting it as I had making it.

      Omg! Clint it's mega !! That's perfection right there an a Labour of love , the shine on it alone must have taken hours , it's absolutely stunning mate ! U should be well chuffed ! That piece right there is what dreams are made of !

      The type of material I chose but the colours were chosen by Alex. Both he and I are not so good with colours so my wife had the final say thank goodness. I'm glad you like it:tu:
